HCL Foundation, Clean Noida, Gond Art Project. 2019, India

Initiated in 2019 from an idea envisioned by, a non art background, induldged into art, to see a world, which can be seen only by Zain Siddiqui, Co-founder of Wicked Broz and led by the artist Umakant Painkara with Co-artist Prasen Bordoloi & fellow teams. This project set out to bring a new perspective to the world of Gond Art onto the street's wall, with new story. Rooted in the rich traditions of indigenous folklore, it seeks to explore artistic evolution while preserving the cultural narratives, symbolism, and storytelling passed down through generations. By reimagining tradition through a contemporary lens, the project aims to carry the legacy of folklore forward while allowing it to evolve with time.
